Narrative:

Flight from msy to iah. We were given a heading to join the runway 27 ILS and cleared for the approach to cross the marker at or below 2000 ft. We descended to 2000 ft to join the GS just outside the marker which would put us below 2000 ft at the marker. This may have caused us to fly below the 3000 ft floor of class B airspace for a short distance. It is common to receive a clearance to 2000 ft when doing approachs to iah. I should have been more diligent in observing the 2000 ft floor of class B at 10 mi.
