Narrative:
Location: nebound J42, 10 NM south of tonio intersection, en route to ewr from dfw at FL330. We saw another aircraft coming at same altitude swbound, 9 NM out and only 2 NM offset right. Shortly after, we received an RA and descended 1000 ft and turned to the left. Other aircraft passed 4 NM off our right. We returned to FL330. ATC said no other conflicts occurred.

Narrative: LOCATION: NEBOUND J42, 10 NM S OF TONIO INTXN, ENRTE TO EWR FROM DFW AT FL330. WE SAW ANOTHER ACFT COMING AT SAME ALT SWBOUND, 9 NM OUT AND ONLY 2 NM OFFSET R. SHORTLY AFTER, WE RECEIVED AN RA AND DSNDED 1000 FT AND TURNED TO THE L. OTHER ACFT PASSED 4 NM OFF OUR R. WE RETURNED TO FL330. ATC SAID NO OTHER CONFLICTS OCCURRED.
