Narrative:

Air carrier flight xyz, msp to rhi, scheduled departure at XA20. I started both engines and received the wave-off to taxi out of spot zy. There was a bag cart on my left wing that I was watching as we started forward (there was a wingman clearing my left wing). After moving a few ft, I started a slight right turn to join the alley taxi line. There was a light pole on our right wingtip. The right turn moved the right wing behind the pole and we hit it about 18 inches in from the end. The first officer had cleared the wing when we started but at that time the pole was beside the wing. The wingman was only clearing my left wing.
