Narrative:
After arriving in sju, we started taxiing in to the gate, I noticed that a galley compartment where the trash container is had opened after landing. I got out of my jump seat and shut the door. I was going back to my jump seat when the aircraft stopped very abruptly. As a result of this I fell backward hitting and injuring my left arm and hand and the back of my head and neck. Captain and first officer later told us that there had been a malfunction and that caused the aircraft to stop so abruptly.
