Narrative:

I was flying for a traffic watch company at the time of the incident. While doing that, I accidentally confused the 110 freeway with the 710 freeway due to the fact both freeways run north/south and both freeways start and end roughly at the same point. Flying along the 110 freeway puts me in class B airspace for lax, which I entered without their permission. No conflicts with other traffic occurred during this period.

Title: TFC WATCH PLT IN A C172 INADVERTENTLY FLEW THROUGH CLASS B AIRSPACE DUE TO BELIEVING HE WAS FOLLOWING A FREEWAY OUTSIDE OF THE AIRSPACE AT HIS ALT.

Narrative: I WAS FLYING FOR A TFC WATCH COMPANY AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. WHILE DOING THAT, I ACCIDENTALLY CONFUSED THE 110 FREEWAY WITH THE 710 FREEWAY DUE TO THE FACT BOTH FREEWAYS RUN N/S AND BOTH FREEWAYS START AND END ROUGHLY AT THE SAME POINT. FLYING ALONG THE 110 FREEWAY PUTS ME IN CLASS B AIRSPACE FOR LAX, WHICH I ENTERED WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION. NO CONFLICTS WITH OTHER TFC OCCURRED DURING THIS PERIOD.
