Narrative:
En route to lhr, purser reported intermittent smell of kerosene at door 2R. Several flight attendants confirmed smell and complained of eyes burning. I was on my crew break and was woken up and told to go to cockpit. Captain asked me to inspect the situation. Smell was intermittent at door 2R. I asked several flight attendants to smell the area and all could smell kerosene intermittently. Captain was informed of situation. Captain went back to door 2R and confirmed a smell at door 2L&right. Captain had flight attendants inspect overhead bins and under passenger seats for spillage. Crew contacted dispatch and maintenance that odor got stronger. We dumped fuel down to maximum landing weight and diverted to gander yqx. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that when he checked the area the smell was present momentarily and then was gone. The reporter said the fuel smell came and went in intermittent puffs. The reporter said at first the source was thought to be the garbage bags but was proved wrong. The reporter said after landing in gander the airplane went OTS and the corrective maintenance action is unknown.
