Narrative:
After arriving on runway 4 at sch, I was instructed to turn off on taxiway C and contact ground control. On exiting on taxiway C, the only runway hold bars visible to me were to my left on taxiway a and they are oriented properly with the dashed lines toward the txwys a and C intersection. Prior to crossing those bars, local advised that I was to have stopped on taxiway C. They said the hold lines on taxiway a are for runway 15/33 -- a runway not listed in the current air facility directory or shown on the current commercial airport diagram. Later, on departure, I noted that there are no yellow hold lines on taxiway C to the west of runway 4. The airspeed needs to improve or repaint their hold lines. I primarily keyed off the absence of lines on taxiway C and the very clear and bright lines on taxiway a in deciding to continue on to taxiway a. Note also that there are no yellow painted hold lies on runway 10 approaching the intersection of runway 4. There is only the red runway 4/22 sign on the north side of runway 10 to indicate where the hold short line should be located.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A LNDG C210 TAXIES ONTO TXWY A WHEN TOLD TO CONTACT GND AT TXWY C WHICH IS PRIOR TO TXWY A.
Narrative: AFTER ARRIVING ON RWY 4 AT SCH, I WAS INSTRUCTED TO TURN OFF ON TXWY C AND CONTACT GND CTL. ON EXITING ON TXWY C, THE ONLY RWY HOLD BARS VISIBLE TO ME WERE TO MY L ON TXWY A AND THEY ARE ORIENTED PROPERLY WITH THE DASHED LINES TOWARD THE TXWYS A AND C INTXN. PRIOR TO XING THOSE BARS, LCL ADVISED THAT I WAS TO HAVE STOPPED ON TXWY C. THEY SAID THE HOLD LINES ON TXWY A ARE FOR RWY 15/33 -- A RWY NOT LISTED IN THE CURRENT AIR FACILITY DIRECTORY OR SHOWN ON THE CURRENT COMMERCIAL ARPT DIAGRAM. LATER, ON DEP, I NOTED THAT THERE ARE NO YELLOW HOLD LINES ON TXWY C TO THE W OF RWY 4. THE AIRSPD NEEDS TO IMPROVE OR REPAINT THEIR HOLD LINES. I PRIMARILY KEYED OFF THE ABSENCE OF LINES ON TXWY C AND THE VERY CLR AND BRIGHT LINES ON TXWY A IN DECIDING TO CONTINUE ON TO TXWY A. NOTE ALSO THAT THERE ARE NO YELLOW PAINTED HOLD LIES ON RWY 10 APCHING THE INTXN OF RWY 4. THERE IS ONLY THE RED RWY 4/22 SIGN ON THE N SIDE OF RWY 10 TO INDICATE WHERE THE HOLD SHORT LINE SHOULD BE LOCATED.
