Narrative:
The occurrence happened during an instructional flight covering normal takeoffs and lndgs. During the landing rollout of our 5TH landing, the student deflected left aileron due to tension and drifted into the runway edge lights on our touchdown. I applied right rudder to get back on centerline and we hit a couple lights in the process. We taxied back, shut down, and inspected the damage. The student's lack of familiarity with lndgs, fatigue and my overzealousness for him to learn to get it right by correcting for his error all contributed to this. Again, the age old saying about if in doubt don't would have helped stop this from happening. I should not let my students get so far behind the airplane and lessen the number of lndgs done to reduce fatigue.
