Air Traffic Incident | Intra Facility Coordination Failure |
Narrative:
95 mi northwest of lkv VOR at FL310, ATC said turn left 30 degrees for traffic. Then got a traffic alert followed by a climb RA and monitor vertical speed of 2000 FPM. Saw other traffic on TCASII, approximately 3 1/2 mi at 2 O'clock and 400 ft. Reported RA deviation to ATC. At FL320 got 'clear of conflict' and reported returning to FL310 and direct btg. ATC frequency 135.35.

Title: FLC OF AN ACR CLBED IN RESPONSE TO A TCASII RA DURING HIGH LEVEL CRUISE RESULTING IN A LOSS OF STANDARD SEPARATION. ARTCC RADAR CTLR HAD PREVIOUSLY GIVEN AN OFF COURSE TURN FOR TFC SEPARATION.
