Narrative:
I was acting PIC conducting IOE for new hire captain. The IOE was confused about which runway to taxi to. I stated the proper runway, the taxi route and the direction to point the aircraft, several times clearly. The IOE stated that he understood and was proceeding. I continued to provide directions. We taxied close to the hold short line of the wrong runway, and despite my directions, the IOE made a sharp turn across the hold short line. 1/2 the aircraft crossed the hold short before I was able to get the IOE stopped, and turned clear of the wrong runway. The IOE is an older person, hard of hearing, and had trouble understanding my instructions. The IOE was very experienced although being new to the aircraft. I overestimated the IOE's abilities based on his backgnd.

Title: CAPT OF AN ATX CARGO EXECUTIVE JET, WITH AN IOE CHK CAPT, FAILED TO FOLLOW TAXI OUT INSTRUCTIONS RESULTING IN A RWY INCURSION.
Narrative: I WAS ACTING PIC CONDUCTING IOE FOR NEW HIRE CAPT. THE IOE WAS CONFUSED ABOUT WHICH RWY TO TAXI TO. I STATED THE PROPER RWY, THE TAXI RTE AND THE DIRECTION TO POINT THE ACFT, SEVERAL TIMES CLRLY. THE IOE STATED THAT HE UNDERSTOOD AND WAS PROCEEDING. I CONTINUED TO PROVIDE DIRECTIONS. WE TAXIED CLOSE TO THE HOLD SHORT LINE OF THE WRONG RWY, AND DESPITE MY DIRECTIONS, THE IOE MADE A SHARP TURN ACROSS THE HOLD SHORT LINE. 1/2 THE ACFT CROSSED THE HOLD SHORT BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO GET THE IOE STOPPED, AND TURNED CLR OF THE WRONG RWY. THE IOE IS AN OLDER PERSON, HARD OF HEARING, AND HAD TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING MY INSTRUCTIONS. THE IOE WAS VERY EXPERIENCED ALTHOUGH BEING NEW TO THE ACFT. I OVERESTIMATED THE IOE'S ABILITIES BASED ON HIS BACKGND.
