Narrative:
Obtained heading and altitude information from wrong SID. Flew wrong heading until vectored by departure control. Although route information was followed correctly, when obtaining the altitude and heading information from the text, it was obtained from the wrong SID. After takeoff, the wrong heading was being followed, the proper altitude was at no time compromised. Upon contacting departure, he turned us to the proper heading to intercept the departure course. At this time we discovered our error. We have since changed our SOP to address this issue. In the future, both pilots must fully review assigned procedures.
Original NASA ASRS Text

Narrative: OBTAINED HDG AND ALT INFO FROM WRONG SID. FLEW WRONG HDG UNTIL VECTORED BY DEP CTL. ALTHOUGH RTE INFO WAS FOLLOWED CORRECTLY, WHEN OBTAINING THE ALT AND HDG INFO FROM THE TEXT, IT WAS OBTAINED FROM THE WRONG SID. AFTER TKOF, THE WRONG HDG WAS BEING FOLLOWED, THE PROPER ALT WAS AT NO TIME COMPROMISED. UPON CONTACTING DEP, HE TURNED US TO THE PROPER HDG TO INTERCEPT THE DEP COURSE. AT THIS TIME WE DISCOVERED OUR ERROR. WE HAVE SINCE CHANGED OUR SOP TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE. IN THE FUTURE, BOTH PLTS MUST FULLY REVIEW ASSIGNED PROCS.
