Narrative:
While the captain was making a 5 degree bank turn at FL330, the aircraft pitched up 10 degrees and entered a 30 degree bank. The autoplt was disengaged. The aircraft climbed approximately 500 ft before being brought under control. ATC made no comment at any time.

Title: ACFT PITCHED UP 10 DEGS AND ROLLED INTO A 30 DEG BANK WHEN THE AUTOPLT TURN KNOB WAS USED FOR A 5 DEG TURN.
Narrative: WHILE THE CAPT WAS MAKING A 5 DEG BANK TURN AT FL330, THE ACFT PITCHED UP 10 DEGS AND ENTERED A 30 DEG BANK. THE AUTOPLT WAS DISENGAGED. THE ACFT CLBED APPROX 500 FT BEFORE BEING BROUGHT UNDER CTL. ATC MADE NO COMMENT AT ANY TIME.
