Narrative:
While maneuvering at 2400 ft MSL for my photographer to get pictures while under an area of the washington-baltimore class B airspace that started at 2500 ft, turbulence caused us to reach an indicated altitude of 2500 ft MSL. I immediately recognized and descended back down to an indicated altitude of 2200 ft MSL. The photographer had told me that he needed to be 'as high as possible to get good pictures.' for the rest of the flight under the 2500 ft shelf I insisted upon 2200 ft MSL to compensate for turbulence. In the future I will take into account turbulence when maneuvering below class B airspace or get ATC permission to enter.
