Narrative:
I feel that after touchdown and during rollout a gust of wind came from the east giving me a quartering tailwind against my rudder. This caused the nose of my plane to head south into the ditch approximately 12 ft from and parallel to the runway.

Title: A PVT PLT IN A CITABRIA LEFT THE RWY AND WENT INTO A DITCH AT MGC, IN.
Narrative: I FEEL THAT AFTER TOUCHDOWN AND DURING ROLLOUT A GUST OF WIND CAME FROM THE E GIVING ME A QUARTERING TAILWIND AGAINST MY RUDDER. THIS CAUSED THE NOSE OF MY PLANE TO HEAD S INTO THE DITCH APPROX 12 FT FROM AND PARALLEL TO THE RWY.
