Narrative:
Approximately 3 mins prior to takeoff at ord, so made cabin announcement to flight attendant to prepare for takeoff, using his audio panel PA microphone selector and hand microphone. He was unaware that his boom/mask toggle switch was in mask position, since had previously talked to ramp control on VHF #2 selector with hand microphone. 3 flight attendants were slightly injured on takeoff.

Title: PLT RPT, ORD TKOF. 3 FLT ATTENDANTS HURT BECAUSE NO 'TKOF' ANNOUNCEMENT MADE BY ENGINEER.
Narrative: APPROX 3 MINS PRIOR TO TKOF AT ORD, SO MADE CABIN ANNOUNCEMENT TO FLT ATTENDANT TO PREPARE FOR TKOF, USING HIS AUDIO PANEL PA MIKE SELECTOR AND HAND MIKE.
