Narrative:
Location: 2 NM northwest of ord on the runway 14R localizer tracking the GS, ord tower reported to us a helicopter east of the localizer. We sighted the helicopter and he had us in sight too. Helicopter set off our TCASII with an RA alert. Ord tower was advised and they moved the helicopter. No further discussion occurred between the captain and the tower.

Title: AN S80 RECEIVES A TCASII RA ON A HOVERING HELI NEAR HIS APCH RTE INTO ORD, IL.
Narrative: LOCATION: 2 NM NW OF ORD ON THE RWY 14R LOC TRACKING THE GS, ORD TWR RPTED TO US A HELI E OF THE LOC. WE SIGHTED THE HELI AND HE HAD US IN SIGHT TOO. HELI SET OFF OUR TCASII WITH AN RA ALERT. ORD TWR WAS ADVISED AND THEY MOVED THE HELI. NO FURTHER DISCUSSION OCCURRED BTWN THE CAPT AND THE TWR.
