Narrative:
Just after leveling at FL240 hit moderate turbulence (2-3 jolts). ATC had been reporting 'light chop.' no precipitation showing on radar with +/-2 degrees up/down scan. Turbulence knocked over 2 galley carts in aft galley, severely injuring the right hand of 1 flight attendant. Requested expedited handling to mke. Paramedics treated injuries at gate at mke.

Title: AN ACR CABIN ATTENDANT IS INJURED WHEN THE ACFT ENCOUNTERS UNEXPECTED TURB NEAR PMM, MI.
Narrative: JUST AFTER LEVELING AT FL240 HIT MODERATE TURB (2-3 JOLTS). ATC HAD BEEN RPTING 'LIGHT CHOP.' NO PRECIP SHOWING ON RADAR WITH +/-2 DEGS UP/DOWN SCAN.
