Narrative:
I was notified by my shop steward that the hydraulic shutoff valve I removed from aircraft xyz was the same serial number on the new parts tag. He said the aircraft had faulted again in dfw with a flap disagreement, which it had a long history of. I removed the valve from the aircraft during which I had gotten skydrol 500 in my eyes and could not see for about 30 mins. I tried to keep working because time was short and I needed to complete the job as soon as possible. I apparently installed the old valve back on the aircraft. I completed a flap test with no faults.

Narrative: I WAS NOTIFIED BY MY SHOP STEWARD THAT THE HYD SHUTOFF VALVE I REMOVED FROM ACFT XYZ WAS THE SAME SERIAL NUMBER ON THE NEW PARTS TAG. HE SAID THE ACFT HAD FAULTED AGAIN IN DFW WITH A FLAP DISAGREEMENT, WHICH IT HAD A LONG HISTORY OF. I REMOVED THE VALVE FROM THE ACFT DURING WHICH I HAD GOTTEN SKYDROL 500 IN MY EYES AND COULD NOT SEE FOR ABOUT 30 MINS. I TRIED TO KEEP WORKING BECAUSE TIME WAS SHORT AND I NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE JOB ASAP. I APPARENTLY INSTALLED THE OLD VALVE BACK ON THE ACFT. I COMPLETED A FLAP TEST WITH NO FAULTS.
