Narrative:
Missed fact of flaps up versus flaps 1 degree on takeoff checklist. When power added taking runway, takeoff warning horn sounded. We taxied clear of runway and discovered reason for warning. Takeoff checklist reviewed with flaps extended. Reclred for takeoff and normal takeoff made. We were somewhat distraction due to presence of government person on jump seat. Be alert to ignore presence of officials riding jump seat.

Narrative: MISSED FACT OF FLAPS UP VERSUS FLAPS 1 DEG ON TKOF CHKLIST. WHEN PWR ADDED TAKING RWY, TKOF WARNING HORN SOUNDED. WE TAXIED CLR OF RWY AND DISCOVERED REASON FOR WARNING.
