Narrative:
During pushback, a vehicle drove into the cowling area of the #2 engine. The tug driver stopped and maintenance inspected the damage. The aircraft was towed back to the gate and taken OTS. No engines were running when the truck struck the airplane. There were no injuries to the crew, passenger, or ground personnel.

Title: B727 STRUCK BY VEHICLE DURING PUSHBACK AT ORD.
Narrative: DURING PUSHBACK, A VEHICLE DROVE INTO THE COWLING AREA OF THE #2 ENG. THE TUG DRIVER STOPPED AND MAINT INSPECTED THE DAMAGE. THE ACFT WAS TOWED BACK TO THE GATE AND TAKEN OTS. NO ENGS WERE RUNNING WHEN THE TRUCK STRUCK THE AIRPLANE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE CREW, PAX, OR GND PERSONNEL.
