Narrative:
I was the PF and declined a clearance to land runway 22 and hold short of runway 27, 6400 ft at boston. The controller requested a reason several times until the captain accepted the clearance. The controller was so persistent that he was distracting us from our normal duties, jeopardizing the safety of our flight.

Title: MD80 CREW WAS NOT ALLOWED TO DECLINE A LAHSO LNDG CLRNC.
Narrative: I WAS THE PF AND DECLINED A CLRNC TO LAND RWY 22 AND HOLD SHORT OF RWY 27, 6400 FT AT BOSTON. THE CTLR REQUESTED A REASON SEVERAL TIMES UNTIL THE CAPT ACCEPTED THE CLRNC. THE CTLR WAS SO PERSISTENT THAT HE WAS DISTRACTING US FROM OUR NORMAL DUTIES, JEOPARDIZING THE SAFETY OF OUR FLT.
