Narrative:

On jun/fri/99, I was assigned to repair a potable water system on aircraft xyz. I accomplished the repairs to the water system and then proceeded to work on #2 thrust reverser. The first thing I did was to reactivate the thrust reverser and to troubleshoot the wiring. Found the voltage to be good. I at that point notified my lead that we would need the #2 engine fork lift to continue troubleshooting. I was informed to update the database as to where we were, as the fork lift was on air carrier XXX. I inadvertently used someone else's screen as it was already up, to update the database.
