Narrative:
Well, it happened again! About 10 yrs ago, same scenario. We were cleared from 6000 ft to 4000 ft by ZME. I noticed the altimeter passing through 3500 ft. A new man in the right seat got busy instructing, teaching and showing instead of flying the airplane. We would be wise to not use a new part-timer unless he has been properly trained on the ground!
