Narrative:
ZBW advised traffic at 12 O'clock less than 2 mi, 500 ft below, VFR. TCASII showed a target at 12 O'clock less than 1 mi, 300 ft below. We received an RA to climb. We advised ZBW and climbed to 4300 ft. Advised ZBW we received an RA and we were climbing. They acknowledged. Nothing else was said. It was an aerostar multi-engine piston aircraft.

Title: MDT CREW HAD TCASII RA.
Narrative: ZBW ADVISED TFC AT 12 O'CLOCK LESS THAN 2 MI, 500 FT BELOW, VFR. TCASII SHOWED A TARGET AT 12 O'CLOCK LESS THAN 1 MI, 300 FT BELOW. WE RECEIVED AN RA TO CLB. WE ADVISED ZBW AND CLBED TO 4300 FT. ADVISED ZBW WE RECEIVED AN RA AND WE WERE CLBING. THEY ACKNOWLEDGED. NOTHING ELSE WAS SAID. IT WAS AN AEROSTAR MULTI-ENG PISTON ACFT.
