Narrative:
Captain was flying and I was on radios. We were cleared to 7000 ft MSL by arrival controller. 7000 ft was set in altitude warning window. (At this point on the arrival we would normally have been cleared down to 6000 ft or less). Captain started descent and I called out the 8000 ft for 7000 ft call. The captain was maneuvering from one radial to another, in a left turn, at about this time. The next thing I knew, all 3 of us simultaneously noticed we were at 6500 ft MSL. The captain added power and smoothly climbed to 7000 ft. Shortly thereafter the controller cleared us down to 6000 ft MSL. No mention of our deviation was made by the controller. Supplemental information from acn 442830: I was getting our gate assignment with the captain descending to 7000 ft at 500 FPM.

Title: B727 ACR PLT LNDG LGA IS CLRED TO DSND TO 7000 FT BUT OVERSHOOTS TO 6500 FT BEFORE CORRECTING BACK TO 7000 FT.
Narrative: CAPT WAS FLYING AND I WAS ON RADIOS. WE WERE CLRED TO 7000 FT MSL BY ARR CTLR. 7000 FT WAS SET IN ALT WARNING WINDOW. (AT THIS POINT ON THE ARR WE WOULD NORMALLY HAVE BEEN CLRED DOWN TO 6000 FT OR LESS). CAPT STARTED DSCNT AND I CALLED OUT THE 8000 FT FOR 7000 FT CALL. THE CAPT WAS MANEUVERING FROM ONE RADIAL TO ANOTHER, IN A L TURN, AT ABOUT THIS TIME. THE NEXT THING I KNEW, ALL 3 OF US SIMULTANEOUSLY NOTICED WE WERE AT 6500 FT MSL. THE CAPT ADDED PWR AND SMOOTHLY CLBED TO 7000 FT. SHORTLY THEREAFTER THE CTLR CLRED US DOWN TO 6000 FT MSL. NO MENTION OF OUR DEV WAS MADE BY THE CTLR. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 442830: I WAS GETTING OUR GATE ASSIGNMENT WITH THE CAPT DSNDING TO 7000 FT AT 500 FPM.
