Narrative:
Misread MEL xx-yya which also includes MEL xx-zza and MEL xx-zzb. Was looking at MEL xx-yyb which includes both pumps OTS but never advised maintenance technician. Late night shift played a major role in my final decision for approval of this MEL. Major part of the problem at the time of my decision.

Title: A COMMERCIAL FIXED WING ACFT WAS DISPATCHED WITH FUEL BOOST PUMPS DEFERRED AS INOP BUT THE MEL REQUIREMENT TO ADVISE THE MAINT CTLR WAS NOT DONE.
Narrative: MISREAD MEL XX-YYA WHICH ALSO INCLUDES MEL XX-ZZA AND MEL XX-ZZB. WAS LOOKING AT MEL XX-YYB WHICH INCLUDES BOTH PUMPS OTS BUT NEVER ADVISED MAINT TECHNICIAN. LATE NIGHT SHIFT PLAYED A MAJOR ROLE IN MY FINAL DECISION FOR APPROVAL OF THIS MEL. MAJOR PART OF THE PROB AT THE TIME OF MY DECISION.
