Narrative:
The captain notified the purser (#1 flight attendant) that we had a hydraulic problem/leak, and we were having to return to tokyo, japan, as this was the nearest landing site in which to land and fix the problem. 2 1/2 hours later, we dumped fuel after lowering landing gear, and landed at nrt airport without incident. Passenger deplaned and were accommodated in hotels until aircraft was fixed and ready to depart the next day.
