Narrative:
2 young boys had been horsing around in r-hand side aft lavatory. A woman was waiting to use it and stated 'they've been in there awhile.' flight attendant #4 attempted to open door to check on them, when they rushed out quickly. The woman then goes into same lavatory. Flight attendant #4 and I push meal cart up aisle. The woman comes up to me to say 'there's a purse in the lavatory.' I thanked her and immediately went to that lavatory. It was my flight attendant issued purse, open and tousled a little. I knew I had about $10-$11, a 5 and several 1's, tucked in corner of zipper pouch. Naturally it was gone. My first thought was I should have been more careful where I put it. It was tucked under last row of seats xxd. The 2 young boys -- I believe (along with others) were the culprits. The auths met the flight and talked to them along with their mother. Nothing was done to them. They didn't even seem fearful or upset. I will be much more careful. That plane is extremely tight for full loads.
