Narrative:
#1 engine shut down in flight. Beta cap came on in-flight. Egt fluctuated from normal to the bottom (300-350 degrees). Oil temperature rose to the high side. Oil pressure dropped to the bottom red then went straight up to the high red side. We decided to precautionary shut the engine down by the SOP and checklist.

Title: BA32 CREW HAD ENG SHUT DOWN.
Narrative: #1 ENG SHUT DOWN IN FLT. BETA CAP CAME ON INFLT. EGT FLUCTUATED FROM NORMAL TO THE BOTTOM (300-350 DEGS). OIL TEMP ROSE TO THE HIGH SIDE. OIL PRESSURE DROPPED TO THE BOTTOM RED THEN WENT STRAIGHT UP TO THE HIGH RED SIDE. WE DECIDED TO PRECAUTIONARY SHUT THE ENG DOWN BY THE SOP AND CHKLIST.
