Narrative:
We taxied out to the holding point for runway 12. We were #1 for departure. I was taxiing the aircraft and the first officer was handling the communications. A radio call came over our headsets 'cleared for takeoff. Fly heading 105 degrees, a B767 is departing runway 9L.' the first officer read back our call sign with the takeoff clearance and heading. I started to taxi out to the threshold of runway 12 when I saw a B737 on approximately 3 mi final. I asked the first officer to confirm our clearance. He called the tower for clarification. The tower responded with 105 degrees on the heading. I was still moving into position and realized 105 degrees was an unusual heading for our destination and keyed the microphone and heard a partial block, so I released the microphone and heard tower tell us to clear the runway. We taxied clear. The tower gave us no further instructions. I believe we were cleared into position and for takeoff, but did not receive information about the aircraft on final. I also believe the heading was confused by the tower which added to the confusion we were having.

Title: A BEECH 1900 FLC ACCEPTED A CLRNC INTENDED FOR ANOTHER ACFT AND TAXIED ONTO THE ACTIVE RWY AT MIA.
Narrative: WE TAXIED OUT TO THE HOLDING POINT FOR RWY 12. WE WERE #1 FOR DEP. I WAS TAXIING THE ACFT AND THE FO WAS HANDLING THE COMS. A RADIO CALL CAME OVER OUR HEADSETS 'CLRED FOR TKOF. FLY HDG 105 DEGS, A B767 IS DEPARTING RWY 9L.' THE FO READ BACK OUR CALL SIGN WITH THE TKOF CLRNC AND HDG. I STARTED TO TAXI OUT TO THE THRESHOLD OF RWY 12 WHEN I SAW A B737 ON APPROX 3 MI FINAL. I ASKED THE FO TO CONFIRM OUR CLRNC. HE CALLED THE TWR FOR CLARIFICATION. THE TWR RESPONDED WITH 105 DEGS ON THE HDG. I WAS STILL MOVING INTO POS AND REALIZED 105 DEGS WAS AN UNUSUAL HDG FOR OUR DEST AND KEYED THE MIKE AND HEARD A PARTIAL BLOCK, SO I RELEASED THE MIKE AND HEARD TWR TELL US TO CLR THE RWY. WE TAXIED CLR. THE TWR GAVE US NO FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS. I BELIEVE WE WERE CLRED INTO POS AND FOR TKOF, BUT DID NOT RECEIVE INFO ABOUT THE ACFT ON FINAL. I ALSO BELIEVE THE HDG WAS CONFUSED BY THE TWR WHICH ADDED TO THE CONFUSION WE WERE HAVING.
