Narrative:
When we arrived at our destination, our maintenance team informed us that one of our tires appeared low. They said that they told the captain about it in ZZZ, and that I said 'we'd take care of it cvg.' no communications came from ZZZ ground crew to me or my crew regarding this topic. I reported the matter to my chief pilot's office and the event is currently under investigation. I would never take an aircraft airborne with a known mechanical defect.
