Narrative:
Picked up from previous shift. Previous shift turned over they had found a leak at the outboard torque tube drive shaft at the inboard flap transmission. Previous shift had already removed drive shaft and replaced the o-ring. The assembly was reinstalled and failed a static leak check. I proceeded to remove the assembly and found the o-ring cut. I referenced the aircraft ipc and located the manufacturer's part number for the o-ring. Installed new o-ring. Reinstalled drive shaft assembly. Svced transmission. Transmission passed the static leak check and operational leak check. Aircraft was returned to service.

Narrative: PICKED UP FROM PREVIOUS SHIFT. PREVIOUS SHIFT TURNED OVER THEY HAD FOUND A LEAK AT THE OUTBOARD TORQUE TUBE DRIVE SHAFT AT THE INBOARD FLAP TRANSMISSION. PREVIOUS SHIFT HAD ALREADY REMOVED DRIVE SHAFT AND REPLACED THE O-RING. THE ASSEMBLY WAS REINSTALLED AND FAILED A STATIC LEAK CHK. I PROCEEDED TO REMOVE THE ASSEMBLY AND FOUND THE O-RING CUT. I REFED THE ACFT IPC AND LOCATED THE MANUFACTURER'S PART NUMBER FOR THE O-RING. INSTALLED NEW O-RING. REINSTALLED DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY. SVCED TRANSMISSION. TRANSMISSION PASSED THE STATIC LEAK CHK AND OPERATIONAL LEAK CHK. ACFT WAS RETURNED TO SVC.
