Narrative:

On approach to sfo, lowered gear early. Right main gear indicated unsafe. Recycled gear, remained unsafe. Went missed approach and requested vectors to holding to go through emergency procedures. Vectored offshore to dump fuel to reduce weight and fuel load in case of gear collapse. Briefed flight attendants for possible gear collapse on landing and declared an emergency. Mechanical indicators showed gear down and locked. Made 50 degree flap landing on runway 28L. Stopped and had gear pinned by maintenance personnel. Flight attendants did an excellent job.
