Narrative:
Approximately 2 - 2 1/2 hours after takeoff, during the pick-up phase of the meal service, a woman in the aft 1/3 of main cabin alerted me that her husband was 'having a seizure.' when I got to him, he appeared to be unconscious. I asked 'a' flight attendant to notify purser, 'B' flight attendant brought an oxygen unit. The passenger was not violent. We made him as comfortable as we could. I asked his wife about his medical condition and their travel that day. (They had had a long day at that time.) as we were speaking, the purser arrived to assess and help. The man regained consciousness and was unaware anything had happened to him. Purser began to administer oxygen. I continued to complete pick-up and to assist as needed. The decision was made to land the airplane. Jfk airport medical personnel removed the man and woman. We remained on the ground approximately 45 mins to 1 hour longer, then continued our flight to fra. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that the wife told them that her husband was an epileptic and was having a seizure. A doctor was paged for, but only an emt person came forward. The captain then made a decision to land at jfk for medical attention.
