Narrative:

I was told to replace the reverser drive motor and high pressure valve #1 engine aircraft xyz. Removed parts and installed new components but did not hook up, as the next shift was on site to take over. The next morning, the aircraft took off and, approximately 4 ft from where I was working, there was a loose clamp and the duct blew off and fire loops indicated a fire. The engine was shut down and returned to the field. I worked on the aircraft on aug/xa/99 and it flew on aug/xb/99.
