Narrative:

Both pilots assumed that takeoff would be on runway 8R. However, we were given a taxi clearance from gate xa to runway 17. No specific txwys were issued with this clearance. On taxiway V, I was 'heads down,' finalizing weight and balance and FMC duties. As the captain made the next left turn and questioned the width of the taxiway, I looked up and realized that we were on taxiway F. I then read him the published 47000 pound weight restr. Our taxi for takeoff continued on taxiway F and taxiway G without incident. Txwys B and B5 should've been used. During a return flight to grr, I noticed that the eastern entrance to taxiway G is marked with a lighted sign 'GA only.' there is no such sign at the entrance to taxiway F.
