Narrative:

During descent through 10000 ft, 'too low terrain' GPWS warning. ECAM and landing gear not down also indicated a low altitude. We climbed to 12000 ft, advising ATC, who cleared us to 12000 ft. We verified mode C and altimeter setting with ATC, then turned off the GPWS. This was a brand new airplane -- less than 1 week old. Some bugs still existed from acceptance tests, apparently.
