Narrative:
The incident occurred during taxi into a parking space when the left wing came in contact with a lighting post adjacent to the parking area. Minor damage was done to the left outer wing. The problem was caused by lack of attention to the left side of the plane when parking. I was looking to the right side to turn into the parking space when the left wing bumped the light post. The plane was moving very slowly at the time of contact. The incident could have been prevented if I would have maintained my position on the taxi line until exactly in front of the parking spot and by more attention to the left side.
