Narrative:
20-30 mins after takeoff, all lights went off. Emergency lights came on for a few seconds and then went off. Flight attendant #2 got her flashlight, and we used it to help passenger return to their seats. The stowage for my luggage is in an overhead bin, and my tote bag had been moved by a passenger -- therefore I could not find it. The interphones were not working, so I made my way to the front and was told by the purser to round up the crew for a briefing, so I did. She said we would be returning to bos, for a normal landing. The lights came back on, and the captain made an announcement to the effect that everything was completely back to normal, but we would be returning to bos as a precaution. We landed in bos without further incident and changed equipment.
