Narrative:
Controller at clarksburg, wv, approach reported me 5 mi south of V7 airway. At the time, I was in moderate turbulence with a 50 KT crosswind at the assigned altitude of 7000 ft. The meteorological conditions at the time made holding an exact course very difficult. I reported this to the controller. I made every effort to bring and hold my aircraft on course.
