Narrative:
Flying flight xa on monday all month have had numerous potential and occasional actual mix-ups with radio calls to flight xb and xa. Errors occur with both ATC and pilots as both flts originate in the los angeles area at about the same time and terminate in dfw. Both flts have been on similar flight plans. Has been a real annoyance for both ATC and pilots all month.

Title: CAPT OF A SUPER MD80 COMPLAINS OF ANOTHER ACR WITH A SIMILAR SOUNDING CALL SIGN THAT HAS A SIMILAR RTE, AND SCHEDULED TIMES, CAUSING PROBS FOR BOTH FLCS AND ATC CTLRS.
Narrative: FLYING FLT XA ON MONDAY ALL MONTH HAVE HAD NUMEROUS POTENTIAL AND OCCASIONAL ACTUAL MIX-UPS WITH RADIO CALLS TO FLT XB AND XA. ERRORS OCCUR WITH BOTH ATC AND PLTS AS BOTH FLTS ORIGINATE IN THE LOS ANGELES AREA AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME AND TERMINATE IN DFW. BOTH FLTS HAVE BEEN ON SIMILAR FLT PLANS.
