Narrative:
Instructed to cross petti intersection at and maintain 8000 ft, at petti turn to heading 220 degrees. Well, we made the crossing restr but forgot about the heading change. 15 mi later, ATC told us to turn to 180 degrees and descend to 7000 ft. This did not cause any traffic conflicts, but I felt it warranted a report. There was some miscom. The first officer, who was the PF, never heard the heading change and I didn't catch it. He was an excellent copilot. I guess I was a little complacent and didn't xchk him enough.
