Narrative:
ATC forgot about us and left us on a collision course with 2 F15 eagles. I believe the controller was overworked in a redundant situation and not being required to listen to callbacks for confirmation, ended up believing he cleared us to a higher altitude when 3 of us never heard a clearance in the cockpit.

Narrative: ATC FORGOT ABOUT US AND LEFT US ON A COLLISION COURSE WITH 2 F15 EAGLES. I BELIEVE THE CTLR WAS OVERWORKED IN A REDUNDANT SIT AND NOT BEING REQUIRED TO LISTEN TO CALLBACKS FOR CONFIRMATION, ENDED UP BELIEVING HE CLRED US TO A HIGHER ALT WHEN 3 OF US NEVER HEARD A CLRNC IN THE COCKPIT.
