Narrative:

Heard and read back clearance 'turn left heading 270 degrees, climb and maintain 8000 ft.' climbing out of 6500 ft, departure controller said 'maintain 7000 ft' and said we took a learjet's clearance. All 3 crew members heard the same clearance. Supplemental information from acn 453860: after takeoff, ATC gave us a clearance up to 8000 ft and a heading of 270 degrees. We made the turn after acknowledging the call. After making the turn and climbing from approximately 4500 ft to 7000 ft, we were informed by ATC that we were not given the clearance that I had read back and we had flown. We were given a new vector and speed restr so that we would not interfere with other traffic. We were then told of a learjet with a similar call sign.
