Narrative:
During leveloff at top of climb, cockpit distraction caused overshoot of leveloff. Aircraft reached FL257, no conflict with traffic and leveled at FL250. Crew distraction caused by looking for aircraft maintenance logbook and frequency change at same time.

Narrative: DURING LEVELOFF AT TOP OF CLB, COCKPIT DISTR CAUSED OVERSHOOT OF LEVELOFF. ACFT REACHED FL257, NO CONFLICT WITH TFC AND LEVELED AT FL250. CREW DISTR CAUSED BY LOOKING FOR ACFT MAINT LOGBOOK AND FREQ CHANGE AT SAME TIME.
