Narrative:
Had a problem covered by MEL with the fuel system. Maintenance complied with MEL and ddg manuals as did the flight crew. Sent ACARS to dispatch requesting MEL be added to release. Didn't have it by taxi time and became distraction on taxi out with other minor problems. Takeoff without the MEL added (per company procedure) to the release. After becoming airborne, discovered (remembered) my error.

Title: FLC OF AN LGT DEPARTED WITHOUT THE MEL DEFERRED ITEM ON THEIR FLT RELEASE DUE TO TAXI OUT DISTRS AND THE TIMELINESS TO THE DISPATCHER TO INCORPORATE IT IN THE ORIGINAL RELEASE.
Narrative: HAD A PROB COVERED BY MEL WITH THE FUEL SYS. MAINT COMPLIED WITH MEL AND DDG MANUALS AS DID THE FLC. SENT ACARS TO DISPATCH REQUESTING MEL BE ADDED TO RELEASE.
