Narrative:
North out of chs. Headed for flat rock. I started out on the 044 degree radial to kinston vice the 036 degree radial to flat rock. Center pointed out my mistake and I corrected. No other aircraft involved. Problem was all mine. Headed into chs, my copilot entered outbound course of 044 degrees and kinston on his side. I pointed out his mistake and he corrected by entering flat rock and the inbound course to flat rock. Crossing chs, I put 044 degree course outbound versus 036 degrees. Center did a great job of catching my error. Greater vigilance on my part, not trusting one's memory even if you just looked. Doublechking the map after station passage to assure proper course.
