Narrative: FLT PHX-SLC, APPEARED TO TAKE OFF UNDER FORECASTED WX CONDITIONS THAT SUGGESTED THE POSSIBLE NEED FOR A SECOND ALTERNATE. PIC AND DISPATCHER IN THE FUTURE SHOULD BE SURE THEY HAVE THE LATEST AVAILABLE FORECAST AT TIME OF DEP.
