Narrative:

On jan/xa/00, the ags ASOS was not reporting temperature/dewpoint in the hourly sequence. All other data was present. In lieu of this data, we operated using temperature/dewpoint data from dnf. This airport is 7 SM northwest and 200 ft higher in elevation than ags. It now appears that data from the station we were operating must be used. If not available from an approved source, operations should have been suspended.
