Narrative:
We were cleared into position and hold and were sitting on the approach end of runway 8R awaiting takeoff clearance. Another aircraft flew directly over us on an apparent go around. Tower had cleared aircraft for landing on runway 8L, but they attempted landing/go around on runway 8R. Our indication was the roar and shudder from aircraft's engines on go around. The poor visibility and low ceiling affected aircraft's ability to see us.

Title: A B727 ON RWY 8R AWAITING TKOF CLRNC HAS ANOTHER ACR ACFT FLY 100 FT DIRECTLY OVER THEM WHILE ON A MISSED APCH FROM A WRONG RWY APCH AT ATL, GA.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED INTO POS AND HOLD AND WERE SITTING ON THE APCH END OF RWY 8R AWAITING TKOF CLRNC. ANOTHER ACFT FLEW DIRECTLY OVER US ON AN APPARENT GAR. TWR HAD CLRED ACFT FOR LNDG ON RWY 8L, BUT THEY ATTEMPTED LNDG/GAR ON RWY 8R. OUR INDICATION WAS THE ROAR AND SHUDDER FROM ACFT'S ENGS ON GAR. THE POOR VISIBILITY AND LOW CEILING AFFECTED ACFT'S ABILITY TO SEE US.
